Jason Andrada wanted to see if he could fight. And he did.
He climbed up the world of amateur Muay Thai. His lengthy career had him step over the ropes 27 times as an amateur. His pro career of six wins and two losses all came with a smile on his face.
Now he’s at it once more at Triumphant 11 in Miami on June 12th.

His passion has been there from the start. The Filipino American turned his love into a livelihood. He opened a gym, Andrada Muay Thai, in his hometown of Las Vegas.
The joy of fighting took a step back for Andrada though. It’s been six years since he last traded punches, elbows, knees, and kicks. He focused on his business and growing the fight.
This bout he’s serious.
“I want to see the progress that I made for myself,” Andrada said.
There’s been a lot of growth in the sport over the last few years for Andrada and the sport. The Las Vegas based fighter has taught thousands of students, coached, and cornered. He’s been a part of making the sport bigger.
Muay Thai is developing worldwide and in America. Triumphant and Muay Thai Addict have been a big part of that. And this will be a big comeback for the sport after the Covid 19 pandemic.
“It's one of the first shows Muay Thai shows that is coming back to the US at a good stage,” Andrada said.
The lack of ring time doesn’t worry the entertainer. He’s worked with MMA stars Valentina Shevchenko and her sister Antonina Shevchenko.
“Their fight camps are always grinding. They're at a high work pace. Nothing crazy or weird. it's good training. Just awesome training,” he said.
He was in Shevchenko’s corner for her recent UFC win over Jessica Andrade via TKO with elbows.
This show will also headline Kevin Ross, Andrada’s old stablemate. They both began at Master Toddy's in Las Vegas.
“I have a couple of friends on the card. It's gonna be a real good show,” he said.
Andrada is excited and focused on his comeback fight. He plans to put on a show and as always he plans on staying true to words he said earlier in his career.
“I’ve knocked out people, I’ve been knocked out,” he said. “I’ve broken bones, my own, and other people’s bones… but I’m always going to entertain the crowd.”
Get ready for Muay Thai entertainment on June 12th at Triumphant 11 in Miami Florida.
Also slated to be on the card are other international standouts like Kevin Ross, Bekah Irwin, Jason Andrada, Thai Barlow, Troy Jones, Amine Ballafrikh, Tierra Brandt, Coral Carnicella, and more.
